Brodie's cashmere pieces are made from 100% Grade A cashmere fibre.
We only use the longest cashmere fibres (42mm) to ensure longstanding quality that is machine washable.
The good news is that Brodie's cashmere does not need to be washed regularly to keep in its fabulous condition.
When the time comes to wash your BRODIE we recommend the cashmere piece inside out and popping it in the washing machine.
Please remember all washing machines are different. Our best advise for washing by machine, place your garment in a laundry bag before placing in the machine whilst adding a small amount of detergent, on a low or short spin cycle.
We recommend that you should wash your garment twice in the first 5 wears, after that you can wash as needed.
Reshape while damp. Never wring water out of your cashmere as it misshapes the delicate fibres. If required, gently squeeze each section.
Never tumble dry cashmere, let it dry naturally. The best method is to place it flat on a clean own in a well ventilated room, away from direct head or sunlight.
Hanging on a hanger whilst wet will cause your cashmere to become misshaped.
Should your knitwear become creased, it can be pressed by turning inside-out using an iron on its lowest setting.
We recommend placing a cloth between the garment and your iron.
Between wears, fold your cashmere knitwear and store in a drawer or shelf away from heat or sunlight.
To store your clean cashmere garments for a longer period, place them inside a breathable, zip-up plastic bag and then in a cool dark place.
Never hang cashmere sweaters, always fold them to avoid a misshape of the knit.
